Shailendra Madarie began with his tabla music at a very young age of 9.
He joined the Indian Culture Centre, where he learned the tabla from teachers from India
He has been under guidence of several Guru’s ( teachers) .They are: Shri Govind Chakraborty, Shri Mahesh Dalvi, Shri D.K.Chakraborty and Shri Harimohan Sharma.
He also had the blessing of the tabla maestro shri Swapan Choudhari, the kathak maestro Shri Ram Mohan Mishra,the tabla maestro Shri Pooran Maharaj.
He performs regurlary in Suriname and abroad.
